Sheldon Moore incoming correspondence, 1840-1842.

Letters to Sheldon Moore of Kensington, Connecticut, both business and personal. The business correspondence relates to his enterprise of manufacturing sundials. A number of letters were from C. Willcox of New Haven, Connecticut, acting as an agent for a company that made the actual dials. Other letters concern orders for sundials. A few letters refer to cultivating fruit, primarily apples. In addition, there are several family letters.
